March and April 2001
The site is muddy after a wet winter but work starts.

Bored piles for the foundations were installed during May 2001.

June 2001 sees the
ground beams prepared and the concrete poured.

In July the steel frame for the main hall goes up, then the floor beams are positioned.

With the floor laid, the walls rise from the foundations in August and September.

Brickwork reaches roof level in October and the roof goes up in November.

Drains connected in December, internal works during Jan, finishing Feb.

March 2002 and the new Centre starts to be used, official opening in April.
