The Club Shield is awarded annually at the AGM to the swimmer who has made the greatest achievement during the previous year through courage, determination and effort.
The Club Shield for 2010 was presented to Peter Sands at the Annual general Meeting. Peter Sands first won the shield in 1990 and in the intervening 20 years has clocked up an amazing 250 miles of swimming lengths at Motcombe Pool. Peter is pictured centre as Rowena presents the shield.
